Having an access control system means that you can decide who can and cannot enter your building or land at any time of the day or night. If your building is unlocked all day whilst the staff are at work, then there is always the possibility of someone not so welcome coming into the premises and if not challenged they could access areas, cause damage or steal available items.
There are many types of access control systems, some more suited to you than others. From simple tag, card and biometric readers, keypads and intercoms to allow access though one or more doors. You can also link your CCTV to your access control system to count people entering the building and ANPR cameras to allow vehicles access to certain areas.

Alarm.Com Integrated Access Control
Alarm.Com offers Cloud based integrated Access Control. Allowing the user full control over the system via PC or App. Mobile credentials allow easy access to sites via mobile phones tapped onto the reader using Bluetooth technology. When linked to the Qolsys alarm system the end user can open the door and unset the alarm with one tap of the reader and the last person to leave the premises can double tap the reader, which will simultaneously set the alarm and lock the door. If an Alarm.Com camera is sited near the door, the camera can also take a snapshot of the last person to leave.
