We require and retain accurate contact details regarding our current customers and will retain that information on a secure computer for a period of up to 1 year after the customer relationship has expired, we share this information with our governing body the SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board) when issuing certificates for installations and takeovers and also in the case of monitored alarms, Southern Monitoring Services, the relevant local Police authority and Fire departments.

The information will be stored for the duration of our customer relationship and for up to 1 year afterwards before being securely destroyed.

As a customer you have a right to request access to information we hold about you should you so require, copies of all job sheets are left on site after engineers visit but we are more than happy to oblige with any reasonable request for information.

We collect your personal data because it is necessary in relation to our business as alarm installers and maintainers and we have a legitimate interest to hold information.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidently lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. In addition, we limit access to your personal details to those employees, agents, contractors and any other third parties (SSAIB, Police, Fire Brigade) who have a business need to know, they will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
